An initiative by Artists for Kids Culture (AKC), Y(Our)Fest centres on creativity, inclusion, and community. The one-day events are an opportunity for kids and families to connect through free live music, arts and dance workshops, festival activities and food.
The festival program is co-designed by local children and young people through AKC artsbus workshops.

Y(our) Fest is a free one-day festival designed by kids for everyone! Join us for the fifth Y(Our)Fest in South Melbourne on Boonwurrung Country:
Live music on the 'Big Stage' featuring local artists and young musicians
Drop-in arts activities and workshops - free face painting, airbrush temporary tattoos, reptiles, interactive mural, arts and crafts
Community BBQ and food trucks - sausage sizzle and Gozleme
Y(Our) Fest is curated by primary aged kids who join the Artists for Kids Culture artsbus program at Park Towers Estate and across the City of Port Phillip. There's something for everyone at Y(Our) Fest so we invite you to RSVP and come have some fun!
Y(Our) Fest is proudly supported by The City of Port Phillip, the Palais Theatre Community Fund, Pressroom Philanthropy, and the GVK Knowles Endowment.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the ands on which we work and live, and recognise their continued connections to country, culture, and community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
